Garmin 240 Blue fishfinder
I did "hear" that it was difficult to use, I don't personally find that to be the case however. So far, I have to say its been an excellent unit. I think its the best bang for the buck by far.
1999 Smoker Craft Stinger w/ 50hp mercury motor. 55lb minnkota terrova/universal sonar (new in 2008) Lowrance LCX-27 w/ Gps (New in 2007)Garmin 240 Fishfinder, cabelas 360 rod holders, white cap splash guards, 2bank onboard charger, too many options to list them all. The boat is has been used to fish it has some ware and tare, but every thing is in working order.
Garmin 240 Blue Fishfinder, purchased at Cabela's few years in bargain cave and never installed.(regular price was 300, i paid 159.00) . Transducers and cables along with manual all included. Box is rough but that doesn't reflect the quality of the graph. I don't have a big boat anymore so it's sitting and needs to go. Gives depth, temperature, and speed, 3 different fish size symbols as well as depth reading, 4 level grayscale screen, dual frequency transducer for deep or shallow reading, shallow and deep water alarms, 2x and 4x zoom, this unit does it all.
